\u0627\u0633\u062a.<\/p>\n<p>Boroujerdi&#8217;s Serious Health Condition and Harassment by Movahedi<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Prosecutor to Special Clerical Tribunal<\/p>\n<p>According to reports received by &#8220;Human Rights Activists for Democracy<br \/>\nin Iran&#8221;, despite Mr. Boroujerdi\u2019s serious and worrisome health<br \/>\nconditions, and instead of transferring him to a hospital, Movahedi,<br \/>\ndeputy prosecutor to Special Clerical Tribunal went to his cell to<br \/>\nharass and psychologically torture Mr. Boroujerdi.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, January 28th, 2014, at 8 a.m. Mr. Boroujerdi whose physical<br \/>\nailments have been ever worsening, began to suffer severe heart pain<br \/>\naccompanied by cold sweats and tremors. He laid in his cell without any<br \/>\nenergy to move, for hours. However, despite his medical condition, he<br \/>\nwas once again refused proper attention. On Tuesday afternoon, Movahedi,<br \/>\naccompanied by several agents turned up at the Special Clerical Ward<br \/>\n(ward 325), in Evin prison and went directly to Mr. Boroujerdi\u2019s cell,<br \/>\nin order to mock and intimidate him.<\/p>\n<p>The inhumane and illicit Special Clerical Tribunal which is personally<br \/>\nand specifically overseen by Khamenei himself, has sentenced Mr.<br \/>\nBoroujerdi to eleven years in prison. He is currently serving his eighth<br \/>\nyears, while enduring various severe illnesses, from coronary, to<br \/>\nrespiratory\/pulmonary, renal, joint pains and Parkinson\u2019s disease. The<br \/>\nregime\u2019s security apparatus and prison authority continues to deny his<br \/>\nrequests for furlough from prison in order to receive the adequate<br \/>\nmedical treatment, doctor visits and check ups, to receiving proper<br \/>\nmedication.<\/p>\n<p>He is also being denied all appropriate legal representation. He was<br \/>\ndragged off to court in leg shackles and hand cuffs. His family members<br \/>\nwho were in attendance were verbally abused and pushed around. The<br \/>\nkangaroo court once again threatened and pressured Mr. Boroujerdi into<br \/>\naccepting to write a letter of repentance and apology to Khamenei.
